Clipping platforms are not all equal, and some leave you guessing about the pay. Use this checklist on any platform before you spend time editing, ours included.
01The checklist
- Is the pay shown before you post? A clear rate per 1,000 views, or a clear pool and how it is split. If it is vague, ask.
- Are payout dates fixed? You should know when the money arrives, not wait for someone to decide.
- Are there fees? Check joining, withdrawal and conversion fees.
- How is a clip reviewed? There should be a written brief, a stated review time and a reason if a clip is rejected.
- How are views counted? Only real views should count, and you should be able to see the number and when it was last updated.
- Do you post from your own account? Your views should be tied to your own verified account so nobody else can claim them.
- What happens when the budget runs out? A good platform says whether clips are still accepted and how earlier clips are paid.

03Warning signs anywhere
- You are asked to pay to join or to “unlock” payouts.
- The rules are only in private messages.
- You must hand over your account login.
- Pay depends on someone’s opinion, with no written rate.

How do I know a clipping platform is legit?
Check that the pay is written down before you post, payout dates are fixed, there is no fee to join, and you never have to share a login.
Should I ever pay to join a clipping platform?
No. A platform that charges you to join or to unlock payouts is a warning sign. Navo is free and takes no fees from payouts.
Why does view verification matter?
It protects honest clippers. When bought or botted views are excluded, the money goes to the people who earned it.
