Pay per view
vs creator pool.
Every Navo campaign pays in one of two ways, and the campaign page tells you which before you post. They reward different things, so it is worth knowing how each works.
01Pay per view
You earn a fixed amount for every 1,000 verified views on each approved clip. The rate is set by the campaign. Some campaigns add a maximum per clip, and some only count views from a minimum number per clip (shown as “Counts from X views per clip”).
It runs until the campaign’s budget is used up. Clips are paid in the order they were approved, and new clips are refused once the budget is gone.
Example: at $0.75 per 1,000 views, a clip with 200,000 verified views earns $150. With a max of $100 per clip it would earn $100.
02Creator pool
The campaign puts a share of its profit into a pool. Every two weeks the pool is split by each clipper’s share of the verified views in that period. If you drive 30% of the views, you get 30% of the pool.
Example: a $2,000 pool and 30% of the views is $600. If other clippers do better in the same period, your share and your amount go down, and the other way around.
03Which one is better?
| Pay per view | Creator pool | |
|---|---|---|
| You know the rate | Yes, before you post | No, it depends on everyone’s views |
| Upside | Predictable, easy to calculate | Can pay more if the campaign does well |
| Risk | The budget can run out | Your share shrinks if others get more views |
| Amount is final | Follows your views for 30 days, paid in rounds | Estimate until the period closes |
If you are new, pay per view is easier to plan around. If you post a lot and your clips usually outperform, a pool can reward that.
04What is the same in both
- Only verified views on approved clips count.
- Payouts happen every 14 days by PayPal or crypto.
- There are no fees taken from your payouts.
- The brief decides what gets approved. A clip that does not follow it earns nothing.
05Questions
What is the difference between pay per view and creator pool?
Pay per view pays a fixed rate per 1,000 verified views on each approved clip. A creator pool splits a share of the campaign’s profit by each clipper’s share of the views.
Can a pay per view campaign run out of budget?
Yes. It runs until the budget is used up, and clips are paid in the order they were approved. New clips are refused once it is gone.
Is there a minimum number of views?
Some campaigns show “Counts from X views per clip”. Below that a clip earns $0. Above it, every view counts.
Why is my amount an estimate?
On a pay per view campaign a clip keeps earning for 30 days, and each payout pays what it has earned since the last one. On a creator pool it stays an estimate until the period closes.
